Photograph of the Manor Bakery complex at 4020-50 Pennsylvania Avenue in the early 1980s, looking northwest down Pennsylvania. The buildings served as the bakery and distribution center for Manor Bakery beginning in 1925. Multiple mergers resulted in the Manor label becoming part of Colonial Bakery, which continued to operate in the space through 1986, when the buildings were included in a major mixed-use redevelopment project that included the construction of the Manor Square building on the southwest corner of the block.

Photograph of a vacant building at 3910 Main Street, circa 1983. The building was originally a Denny's restaurant that closed in 1982. Rosie's Bakery and Deli opened in the building in 1983. Foolkiller Theater, on the northwest corner of 39th and Main, can be seen in the background of the image. The restaurant building and gas station to the north were demolished in 1998.

Delivery trucks and gas pumps can be seen at the rear of the store. The buildings served as the bakery and distribution center for Manor Bakery beginning in 1925. Multiple mergers resulted in the Manor label becoming part of Colonial Bakery, which continued to operate in the space through 1986, when the buildings were included in a major mixed-use redevelopment project that included the construction of the Manor Square building on the southwest corner of the block.

Originally built for Standard Oil Company, at the time of the photograph the building was occupied by the Government Employees Hospital Association. A decorative archway leading to the parking lot of the Skaggs (former Katz) Drugstore to the south can also be seen in the image.

Muehlebach Flowers, at 3934 Main Street, is picture, as is a free-standing restaurant building that had been vacated by a Denny's restaurant in 1982. Calvary Baptist Church, at 3921 Baltimore, can be seen in the background on the opposite side of the block. The Price Candy Company Building, occupied by the Foolkiller Theater company, can be seen on the northwest corner of the intersection.
