Aladdin Hotel Comeback Set
-
Description
-
The Aladdin Hotel located at 1215 Wyandotte in downtown Kansas City is set to open again on May 4, 2007. "The event will mark the 193-room, 16-story tower's second go-round as a Holiday Inn franchise after two stints as Embassy on the Park, a stretch under the Days Inn flag, and most recently as the independent Citi Centre Plaza Hotel when it was last closed in February 2004." The hotel opened in 1925 and the exterior and lobby have been restored to that time period including its polished marble pillars, checkerboard marble floor and brass railings. The historic Zebra Room will be open and the hotel offers 3,000 square feet of top floor ballroom and meeting space.
