KC's Cosby Hotel Wins a Reprieve

Due to lobbying by historic preservationists and downtown residents, the 1881 Cosby Hotel building at 9th and Baltimore Ave. will not be demolished as planned. City officials agreed instead to fix a crumbling corner of the building. Scott Lane, president of the Historic Kansas City Foundation, and developer Adam Jones are leading efforts to repair the structure and find a buyer.
