Traveling Fire Show Lights the Night on Brush Creek
-
Description
-
An event called WaterFire Kansas City was held on September 8, 2007, on Brush Creek at the Country Club Plaza. The show originated in Rhode Island and uses both sights and sounds to entertain. "A series of log bonfires were set with torches in the middle of the creek in the heart of the Country Club Plaza as throngs of people lined creek walkways, banks and bridges. New Age, classical, opera and other music resonated along the waterway, and fire-eating dancers entertained." The event is scheduled to return on October 13, 2007.
