A major new exhibit, "Inventing the Modern World: Decorative Arts at the World's Fairs," opens April 14, 2012. The exhibit "will occupy more square footage than any previous show in the Bloch Building...." Article describes some of the memoriabilia from different World's Fairs that will be displayed. In conjunction with the inside exhibit, the Sun Pavilion, designed by Kansas City architecture firm Generator Studio, will be on the southern front of the the Nelson's property.
