Description of the case of the 1888 murder of architect Albert Ramsden (ca. 1853-1888), supposedly by his ex-employee John Martling, in an office at the Gibraltar Building. Ramsden the designer of the Gibraltar Building (Downtown) and the Judge Shannon Douglass mansion (built in 1887 at 28th and Troost Avenues and demolished in 1953) and co-designer of the Nelson Building (at Main and Missouri Avenues).
