Mechanical drawing under the direction of Mr. Cassell. Structural drawings under the direction of Mr. Glass. General construction by Swenson Construction Company. Plans for building started in 1930 by Mr. Joseph Porter, President of Kansas City Power & Light Company. The building stands 479 feet above the sidewalk, made of Indiana limestone.
