Exterior, partial body view of Joe Sanders and his wife Madeline standing by the Rock Island Monument in Joliet, Illinois. The Coon-Sanders band played in this location on July 25-27, 1927. According to Edmiston's book, p.330 - Madeline Sanders, first wife of Joe Sanders, died in Chicago, Illinois, on February 13, 1947, at the age of 49. She is buried in Mr. Moriah Cemetery in Kansas City, Missouri.
