The "E-Interviews" column features an interview with Dan Wayne, owner of the Soda Lofts on Fifth Street in the Columbus Park area. The Soda Lofts building was built in 1923 by Joe Vaccaro to house his Vaccaro Soda Water Company business. The building was later bought by LaSala, a deli next door. It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003 and shortly thereafter was turned into lofts. Also includes a discussion of the Columbus Park neighborhood area. Includes pictures of the building as well as interior views including one from the 1930s showing an Italian wedding reception held on the second floor.

Captioned photograph under "Good Things in Northeast" which features a 1910-1950 Viceroy carriage which was the type used by Loula Long Combs. The billiard room at Corinthian Hall has been transformed into a tribute to Loula, the daughter of Robert A. Long. The original mantle in that room is now visible.
