Photograph of the Ambassador Apartments building at 3560 Broadway Boulevard in the early 1980s. The building was designed by local architect Nelle E. Peters and built in 1924 as the Ambassador Hotel. The building was renovated into apartments circa 1982, at the time the building and several of its neighbors were placed on the National Register of Historic Places. It was placed on the Kansas City Register of Historic Places as part of the Ambassador Hotel Historic District in 1994. At the time of the photograph, Home Savings Bank also occupied the building. Located in the Valentine neighborhood.
