Photograph of a footbridge and sign on the north side of Brush Creek in the 1980s. The sign, standing between J. C. Nichols Parkway and Wornall Road, was placed in 1977 and lists distances to Kansas City's sister cities: Seville, Spain; Morelia, Mexico; Kurashiki, Japan; and Freetown, Sierra Leone. The bridge was disassembled in the early 1990s and replaced circa 1999.

Photograph circa 1980s of the Second Hannibal Bridge, looking north, which opened in 1917 and carried both rail and car traffic until 1956, when car traffic switched to the Broadway Bridge. In the left side of the photo, to the west of the Second Hannibal Bridge is the Broadway Bridge, which opened in 1956, and was renamed the Buck O'Neil Bridge in 2016.
