Virgil's opened in the building, which spans from 1712-26 W. 39th, in 1944, and remained until the building was destroyed by fire on November 7, 1990. The building was replaced by a one-story commercial strip and parking lot.

Virgil's Cafe, which opened in 1944, World Spirits liquor store, and Loma's Jewelry occupy the ground-level storefronts. The building was destroyed by fire on November 7, 1990, and was replaced by a one-story commercial strip and parking lot.
