The home has served as convent at some point, a Catholic elementary school (St. John's) and as the Don Bosco Family Support Center. It was placed on the Kansas City Register of Historic Places as part of the Pendleton Heights Historic District in 1992. To the north of it is 512 Garfield Avenue , built in 1890 and also a part of the Kansas City Register of Historic Places as part of the Pendleton Heights Historic District. Located in the Pendleton Heights neighborhood.

Photograph of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic school and convent, located on Gregory Boulevard between Blue Ridge Boulevard and Kentucky Avenue in Raytown, Missouri. Image appears to have been captured shortly after construction was completed in 1952. A single, unidentified figure stands in front of the structure. The school and convent was dedicated by Bishop Edwin V. O'Hara on June 20, 1952. The building's architect was Kenneth O. Von Achen. J. E. Dunn was the general contractor for the project.
