DeLuna was released from federal prison in 1998, doing time for multiple racketeering activities in the 1970s and 1980s. He is the eighth person to be listed in the Missouri Gaming Commission's "Black Book." Other people on the list include Matthew Trupiano, Frank Joseph DeLuna, John R. Termini, William D. Cammisano, Jr., Jackie Dale Norris, Peter Joseph Simone, and Anthony "Tony Ripe" Civella.
