Six years ago be decided to become Mr. Stinky Feet and perform full time. He produces CDs and performs locally as well as all over the country and has been to Europe to perform.

Description of his career, moving from Illinois to Kansas City at the age of 16 in a traveling magic show around 1900 and co-founding the Patterson & Brainerd Carnival Company, meeting his wife at the Heim amusement park, inventing a ride at Fairland amusement park in the 1930s, and in the same decade retiring into theater electrician work at the Tower Theater.

Ellison was an actor, director, and make-up artist who was born in Pottsdam, New York, and died February 11, 1994, in Kansas City, Missouri. For many years he worked with Patricia McIlrath and the Missouri Repertory Theatre. Includes a chapter on the Resident Theatre and illustrations from the Arthur Wayland Ellison Scrapbooks located at the Western Historical Manuscript Collection.
