The obituaries are from The Kansas City Times (June 19, 1930, page 9), the Kansas City Journal-Post (June 19, 1930, page 5). The third article is about the naming of a new school as the R. T. Coles Vocational and Junior High School, from The Kansas City Times, August 11, 1936.
