Since the recent completion of the new beef killing house at Schwarzschild & Sulzberger, the company plans to modernize the present plant into a slaughterhouse for hogs. The current capacity for the hog slaughter is 500 per day, but with the new improvements the packing house hopes to reach 2,000 per day.
