Bannister Mall's Last Anchor, Sears, Closing By Early April
-
Description
-
The Sears store has been a part of Bannister Mall for 25 years, but is now scheduled to close in early April, 2006. Bannister Mall is located at 5600 E. Bannister Road, has 1.2 million-square-foot of space, and currently has 50 empty retail spaces. Sears owned their own building in the mall. This shopping center opened in 1980 and was successful for many years. However, in the last few years it has struggled. Other anchor stores who have closed include the Jones Store, J.C. Penney and Dillard's.
